MA-330 Campus Distribution Solution

The MA-330 is a cost effective solution for expanding the reach of the MobileAccess Universal Wireless Network to multiple buildings within a campus environment. Using Wave Division Multiplexing (WDM) technology over fiber optic connections, the MA-330 extends the reach of an RF source (BTS), enabling it to service remote locations located within a 20 km radius.

In the MA-330 Campus Distribution solution, the MA-330 Main transports RF signals to remote locations via optical connections to the MA-330 Remote. The system can be augmented by the MA-330 Expansion Box, which doubles the number of MobileAccess Base Units supported by each MA-330 Remote.

MA-330 Core Capabilities:

  Broadband operation from 100MHz - 2.2GHz supporting licensed services such as Cellular, PCS, iDEN, SMR, GSM, DCS, and UMTS, as well as unlicensed services such as UHF and VHF.
• Highly Scalable
  Each MA-330 Remote can support two 8-port or four 4-port Base Units and those numbers can be doubled using an MA-330 Expansion Box.
• Intuitive GUI
  Enables end-to-end setup, adjustments, and monitoring through local connection from either the Remote or Main unit.
• Automatic adjustment
  The MA-330 solution features automatic end-to-end system adjustment on fiber optic runs up to 20km.
