Radio Interface Unit (RIU)
The MobileAccess line of intelligent Radio Interface Units (RIUs) conditions the RF signals sourced from base-transceiver stations (BTS) or bi-directional amplifiers (BDA), ensuring a constant level of RF before those signals are passed on to the MobileAccess Solutions Pathway.
The RIU is a chassis based unit that can house a combination of up to three BTS (BTSC) or BDA Conditioner (BDAC) modules supporting multiple RF services. This scalable device is used for large installations of up to eight MobileAccess Base Units and can be upgraded to support additional services.
