Training Services

To ensure that your deployment and maintenance of your in-building wireless network runs as quickly and effectively as possible, MobileAccess delivers world-class training programs at the MobileAccess training classroom or at customer sites.

Hands-on Training

Available to our customers and partners, MobileAccess provides hands-on training on how to design, deploy and maintain the MobileAccess Universal Wireless Network.

Training Courses

All courses are designed to lead to proficiency in the specific MobileAccess product solutions relevant to each job function. Areas of focus include:

• VAR Sales Training: Information is synthesized into key areas sales professionals need, such as business drivers, market knowledge, positioning, benefits, competition analysis, and differentiators. The course includes many opportunities for learner to check their understanding and practice what they have learned with interactive exercises.

• RF Design Engineering Training: This course is for experienced RF engineers who require experience with design of the MobileAccess solution. The course includes link budget, RF design tools, MA tips, and in depth RF design exercises.

• Commissioning & Installation Training: The MobileAccess Commissioning & Installation training includes a series of hands-on exercises designed to enable our Customers and VARs to efficiently install, validate, and commission RF traffic onto the Universal Wireless Network.
  

Hands-on training courses are offered at the MobileAccess training center in Vienna, Virginia or can be performed on-site at your facility.

MobileAccess VAR Qualification

In order for a VAR partner to become qualified, two employees must complete each of the above MobileAccess Courses.  Upon completion, each VAR will receive a certificate to recognize their qualification.  MobileAccess VAR partners will achieve:

• RF Design Qualification when two RF Design Engineers successfully complete the MobileAccess RF Design Course
• Installation and Commissioning Qualification when two RF Equipment Professionals successfully complete the MobileAccess Commissioning and Installation Course
• Sales Qualification when two Sales Professionals successfully complete the MobileAccess Sales Course

MobileAccess VAR Certification

In order for a VAR partner to earn the following certifications, they must complete the qualification process above in addition to the following practical steps:

Installation and Commissioning Certification

• Complete one high quality installation of the MobileAccess Universal Wireless Network
  
• Successfully validate system functionality
• Successfully commission a carrier onto the system

RF Design Certification

• Successfully complete two RF designs from two seperate RF designers for MobileAccess Universal Wireless Network solutions
  

Note: Success on the above practical steps will be judged by a MobileAccess technician or RF design engineer

MobileAccess reserves the right to change or expand the requirements of its Qualification/Certification program in order to expand the knowledge and skills of future VAR partners. Under any new program MobileAccess will grandfather VARs which have previously achieved a qualified or certified status.
